Job Summary
If you are a tech expert who enjoys interfacing with clients, assessing requirements, and coming up with innovative software solutions, this is the job for you!
You’ll need at least 5+ years experience in software development
- Salary - Dependant on experience
- Hours - Full time, flexible working hours and the option to work from home

Location
We're based in Hitchin, however we currently provide the opportunity to work remotely.
Who are we looking for?
- Knowledgeable about various digital technologies: iOS and Android applications, cross-platform technologies (React Native), web applications (backend and frontend);
- well-informed on cloud architecture techniques, design patterns, and technologies (security, REST, OAuth, API management, deployment models, micro-service architecture, etc.)
- knowledgeable about different types of database systems
- a strong communicator (both verbal and written)
- an analytical and creative problem solver
- experienced in working on multidisciplinary projects
- able to establish a good rapport with clients
- experienced with database design and architecture setup
- able to prioritise and manage work to meet critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
- able to develop new approaches to complex design problems
- experienced with the general privacy and legal aspects related to application/service development (CCPA, HIPAA, GDPR)
- experienced in agile development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban)

Responsibilities
- meet with clients and understand their business and technical requirements
- join kickoff meetings and help set up projects for production
- plan out architecture (servers, databases, frameworks, and programming languages) at a high level
- draw diagrams and write specifications
- work with designers on wireframes
- oversee the project life cycle from conception to completion
- assess potential risks and report them to the client and production teams
- together with the project manager, keep track of time, costs, and quality constraints
- help continuously improve our processes
- provide the business development team with technical advice and support in communication with potential and existing clients
- coach your team members and share technical knowledge
